Lung Cancer is The #2 Cancer for Women & Men

Lung cancer is cancer that starts in the lungs.

The two most common types of lung cancer are:

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) which makes up about 80 to 85 percent of all cases.
Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) which makes up the other 15 to 20 percent of lung cancers.

SCLC grows and spreads faster than NSCLC. This also makes it more likely to respond to chemotherapy. However, according to medical reports it’s also less likely to be cured with traditional treatments.

Cigarette smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer. The likelihood of developing lung cancer for those who smoke is astronomical... 23 times more likely for men and 13 times more likely for women. (And the cancer industry wants us to believe that cancer is genetic.)

How Did I Most Likely Get Lung Cancer?

This peer-reviewed article on the NIH makes it more than evident what Lung Cancer stems from...

"... active cigarette smoking; exposure to secondhand cigarette smoke (passive smoking); pipe and cigar smoking; occupational exposure to agents such as asbestos, nickel, chromium, and arsenic; exposure to radiation, including radon gas in homes and mines; and exposure to indoor and outdoor air pollution.
"Despite the identification of this constellation of well-established causal risk factors, the global epidemic of lung cancer is primarily caused by a single factor: cigarette smoking." ~NIH.gov

Note that all the FACTORS listed in this article... (smoking, environmental toxins, radiation, and air pollutions) are all metabolic disruptors. Once again, this points to the FACT that cancer is a metabolic disease and is not typically genetic.

These FACTORS (and more) cause cancer (a Metabolic Disease) of which Lung Cancer is but one. If you do not understand what Metabolic Disease is - then please read our article here before proceeding. Metabolic breakdown occurs because of these and many other factors. When this occurs our cells are not able to utilize the nutrition (from the foods we eat) to produce enough energy at a cellular level. With the cell being low on energy this means it is low in oxygen and at this point our immune system fails to function properly. I cannot believe that the NIH allowed this article (pointing to cancer being a metabolic disease) to remain on their site. This research focused on Lung Cancer, but the reality is that all cancers are metabolic diseases. And when the metabolism is altered and not functioning properly (not converting food into cellular energy) our immune system is crippled. Depending on the amount of dysregulation we may find ourselves getting cancer or another metabolic disease.

Bottom Line... The Immune System was not performing optimally.

Symptoms of Lung Cancer

Headache (may be a sign that lung cancer has spread to the brain)
Raspy, hoarse voice (persisting more than 2 weeks)
Any change in a cough (that maybe gets deeper)
A persistent cough (wet or dry) that lingers on

Unfortunately Lung Cancer can Metastasize

Healthline tells us...

"When cancer starts in one place in your body and spreads to another, it’s called metastasis. When lung cancer metastasizes to the brain, it means the primary lung cancer has created secondary cancer in the brain.

"About 20 to 40 percent of adults with non-small cell lung cancer go on to develop brain metastases at some point during their illness. The most frequent metastatic sites are:

* adrenal gland
* brain and nervous system
* bones
* liver
* other lung or respiratory system"

Please understand that the Medical System primarily offers you the same 3 therapies of cutting (surgery), burning (radiation), or poisoning (chemo) which all have very negative effects on the body's immune system.

The sad thing is that unless your immune system is operating at peak performance, you have no chance of winning this battle.

When cancers metastasize here is what orthodox medicine tell us...

Who wants to live in fear of "controlling" cancer or receive "treatments" to "control" the "symptoms" and "side effects"?

Nagalase, an Acidic Environment and GcMAF

Let me tell you a little about how cancer loves an acidic environment and the importance of Macrophages and Nagalase.

All healthy cells love and require oxygen to create energy, but once they turn cancerous they no longer require oxygen, but instead, they require an acidic environment. The acidic environment is one practically deplete of oxygen. These cancerous cells now require sugar and through a process of fermentation, they create energy.

Remember: Cancer must have sugar and it must have an acidic environment in order to exist.

Nagalase is an enzyme that cancer secretes which stops the function of Macrophages by eliminating the ability for the Gc protein to activate the Macrophages. Macrophages are the front-line defense of the immune system and they eat everything that is not considered a normal healthy cell such as... pathogens, viruses, bacteria, fungi, dead cells, etc., and... cancer cells. They also regulate and activate the Immune System. Without Macrophages your entire immune system is left defenseless against all of these intruders and your health is greatly compromised, to say the least.

Knowing the IMPORTANCE of Macrophages (in fighting and winning the battle), this study makes perfect sense: "... tumor acidity contributes to prostate carcinogenesis (or formation of any other cancer) by altering (slowing) the state of Macrophage Activation. ~British Journal of Cancer

Just know this... without Macrophages you will not win a battle against any Metabolic Disease (including Cancer)... PERIOD!

GcMAF and non-small cell Lung Cancer

"GcMAF has many biological activities; it activates macrophages via superoxide radical generation and phagocytic activation and has been demonstrated to have anti-angiogenic and anti-tumor activity in vivo.

"The majority of lung cancers are histologically grouped as non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (approximately 87%), with many NSCLC patients presenting with advanced stage III or IV at initial diagnosis. Second-line treatments offer only modest survival benefits, often with significant toxicity for patients with advanced NSCLC who progress after receiving a platinum-based chemotherapy regimen.

"Recently, we reported that serum GcMAF-based immunotherapy combined with several other therapies, such as SDT and ozone therapy, was effective in the treatment of cancer patients. In this case, we treated a 77-year-old male diagnosed with NSCLC (adenocarcinoma, stage 3B) with serum GcMAF and oral colostrum MAF-based immunotherapy combined with SDT, TTF, and ozone therapies.

Case Report

"A 77-year-old male was diagnosed with NSCLC (adenocarcinoma, stage 3B) in January 2014. Surgery could not be offered because it was considered too late. Nine cycles of chemotherapy (gemcitabine/carboplatin/pemetrexed) as palliative chemotherapy was conducted. However, chemotherapy caused kidney damage and was discontinued.

In July 2014, the patient began high-dose second-generation GcMAF, which was administered at 0.5 ml, two times a week intramuscularly.
In November 2014, he received SDT, TTF therapy, and ozone therapy, three times a week, for a total of six times.
In March 2015, tumor marker neuron-specific enolase (NSE) decreased to within the normal range.
In the same month, he received SDT and Ozone therapy, three times a week, for a total of six times.
The patient also started taking daily colostrum MAF, both orally in an acid-resistant capsule and sublingually as a powder in the mouth.
He reported better sleep quality, more energy, and reduced frequency of nighttime urination (nocturia) after taking oral colostrum MAF.
The radiologist report indicates that there was no change in the size of the tumor. In other words, the tumor had not increased in size over a 15-month period."

NOTE:

Sonodynamic Therapy (SDT) is a fancy name for a therapy utilizing ultrasound. Which we also use.
Tumor Treating Fields (TTF) therapy is a fancy way of describing alternating electric fields (which are low intensity). We also use this same therapy, but we call it Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy.
Ozone Therapy is also something we offer at Atlantis.
With our combination of therapies (we use to fight lung cancer), it is highly probable that the tumor (in the research case above) would have completely disappeared.

Traditional Treatments for Lung Cancer May be Considered a bit Barbaric

Here a few excerpts from a NIH.gov research paper about Quality of Life issues for lung cancer patients...

"Patients undergoing lung cancer resection surgery (removing a section of the lung) and can result in negative health consequences well beyond the perioperative period (after surgery) (e.g., atrial arrhythmias, prolonged respiratory failure/intensive care unit stay)"
"Chemotherapy and radiotherapy, often part of the treatment for stage IB–IIIA lung cancer, can also lead to long-term cardiopulmonary impairments (e.g., cardiomyopathy, cardiac conduction disturbances, coronary artery disease, valvular disease, pneumonitis, pulmonary fibrosis)"
"In those undergoing definitive external-beam radiation, it is common to develop some degree of focal pulmonary fibrosis, and a minority will subsequently develop progressive pulmonary fibrosis, cor pulmonale, and respiratory failure."
"Lung cancer patients can also have major comorbidities (one or more additional conditions) that limit health."

"In a large cohort study of 5,683 lung cancer patients, the most common comorbidities included chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, in 53% of patients), diabetes (16%), and congestive heart failure (13%). In time, partly due to the long-term effects of lung cancer treatment and comorbidities, patients experience disabling symptoms, which in turn can lead to a downward spiral of health . . . Long-term respiratory symptoms are highly prevalent and can be present in up to 60–70% of patients at ≥ 5 years. These symptoms have been shown to limit generic Quality of Life (QoL), which can be more important than the duration of survival for some patients."
"According to a survey of 660 lung cancer patients, health issues that are deemed important or very important include Quality of Life, maintaining independence, ability to perform normal activities, ability to sleep, and not being fatigued." ~

Radiation Therapy

Radiation suppresses (destroys) the immune system and the bone marrow. Additionally, because the cells in your bone marrow are sensitive to radiotherapy—the number of Red Blood Cells (which transport oxygen throughout the body), White Blood Cells (which fight infection), Platelets (which help the blood clot), Macrophages (destroy pathogens including cancer and regulates/controls the immune system), etc. can be greatly decreased. Sometimes this decrease is temporary, however, it can also be permanent. Either way, this is truly not a good thing, because the bone marrow is where all new cells are generated. Without new cells, your life is in jeopardy. NOTE: "Radiation therapy for cancer. Exposure to large doses of radiation, such as those given during radiation therapy for cancer, increases the risk of bone cancer in the future." ~Mayo Clinic

Chemotherapy

Chemo also destroys the immune system with copious amounts of toxins. Many chemo drugs also damage your bone marrow. Without new cells being generated in the bone marrow your Immune System is effectively destroyed. Once the bone marrow has been destroyed your life is not long for this world. Both Chemo and Radiation Therapies make the body more toxic—lower the pH to a more acidic state—suppress the immune system—and have the potential of interfering with the production of new cells in the bone marrow. Because BOTH of these therapies are NOT selective they kill BOTH healthy cells and cancer cells. Additionally (when your white blood cell count is lower than normal) you have an increased chance of getting an infection which in turn further suppresses the immune system — which is the only way you have of fighting cancer or any other disease.

Women with metastatic cancer who are parents of dependent children are at risk for high psychological distress and low HR QOL (Quality of Life) scores.
Cross-sectional studies suggest that parents with advanced cancer have high rates of anxiety and depressive symptoms.

"Although some types of metastatic cancer can be cured with current treatments, most cannot. Even so, there are treatments for all patients with metastatic cancer. The goal of these treatments is to stop or slow the growth of cancer or to relieve symptoms caused by it." ~ Cancer.gov
