PRP Therapy
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy uses injections of a concentration of a patient's own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints. In this way, PRP injections use each individual patient's own healing system to improve musculoskeletal problems.
It is a very easy procedure. The plasma may include other additives such as GcMAF, Ozone, and Bicarb soda (to reduce acid pain in the location) just to name a few. This service has been known for many years. However, it has not often been considered, but that is changing as it's now a well-known and understood therapy that works very well.
The best part of the therapy is that it uses your own blood. This blood is spun and your plasma is separated from the platelets. It is then injected into the problem area (which oftentimes is joints). It helps areas that could not heal before... start to heal. When we back this therapy up with IVs and Hyperbaric Oxygen the results are intensified and amazing.
PRP can also be a delivery system for ozone therapy. Combining the two, have reported knee reconstructions being canceled. It is that powerful at helping the body repair. If your a sports person, or just having knee problems, this therapy may be for you. It requires one of two protocols, weekly visits or intensely 3 visits a week for two weeks, a week off, and another two weeks. This would also require you to have hyperbaric oxygen and a couple of other therapies, depending on your case.
